WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Instead of High School senior pranks, this high school’s senior class gives gifts! Each year the senior class raises money and votes on a gift to create a better school environment for years to come, and in 2016 the senior class voted to commission a large mural for the school’s lobby wall. With an idea and color palette in mind, the senior class requested a movable mural to represent the graduating class “spreading their wings and graduating from high school”. Created on seven 4ftx8ft pieces of plywood, (to make the piece movable), we painted a custom mural incorporating their school colors, their class year and a literal image of birds spreading their wings.

Size: 8ftx28ft

Client: Seniors of 2016
